The newly released video of the incident involving the fatal shooting of Savannah Graziano, a California teenager abducted by her father, contradicts previous claims made by officials. The footage shows Savannah following deputies' commands and not wearing tactical gear as initially stated. The tragic event unfolded after her father, Anthony John Graziano, allegedly killed Savannah's mother.

Despite earlier reports describing Savannah as a participant in the shootout, the video reveals she was actually obeying instructions from law enforcement. The family has not yet commented on the video, and efforts to reach them have been unsuccessful. The incident began with a 911 call reporting the suspect's truck, leading to a high-speed chase where shots were fired at deputies.

The white pickup truck broke down on the side of the highway in Hesperia, leading to a sudden shootout. A passenger, later identified as Savannah, emerged from the vehicle. Dicus mentioned that Savannah was dressed in tactical gear when she exited the truck's passenger side and made a dash towards the sheriff's deputies.

Amidst the chaos, she fell to the ground. The deputies were initially unaware that it was Savannah approaching them, as she was clad in a helmet and military-style vest. The latest footage, captured from above, depicted the truck reversing before pulling onto the shoulder of the road.

suddenly crouched down before rising up again. The moment she was likely shot, her figure became blurred in the video. A voice can be heard exclaiming, "Oh, no," as more deputies rushed towards the scene. The deputy closest to Savannah can be heard on the belt recording repeatedly instructing her to come towards him.

Despite his efforts to prevent the shooting, Savannah was struck by deputy rounds. Medical aid was administered immediately, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. The investigation into the incident has been taken over by the California Justice Department, with no comments provided by the sheriff's office due to the ongoing investigation.
