This oil on canvas is painted in two phases. First phase was almost ten years ago when I was fascinated in colours only and created a background. The second and actually present phase is strongly connected to my fascination of form. I was wondering how can I tame a color plane using another colours trapped in form. Besides I love spring flowers and I spend a lot of time in botanic garden meditating the nature. One of my favourite is a botanic garden in Madrid. So, I was hope to show the moment when human meets nature delicacy. This painting is on cotton canvas on wooden stretcher.

Daniel J Zyzniewski, gives a short bio on himself, a psychologist, clinical neuropsychologist, therapist and art historian. A lecturer at Open University of University of Warsaw. His birth place is Poland, liveing and working in Warsaw. He usually paints "alla prima" using wet-on-wet technique. Most oils are painted with a thick layer of oil paint not very diluted. That's because texture of paintings is important to me as well. He also likes watercolors and gouaches.
